Responsibilities:

  • Perform clinical evaluations to diagnose and develop treatment plans appropriate to each case.
  • Advise and intervene with clients, providing them with support throughout the treatment of difficulties and/or diagnoses.
  • Demonstrate strong skills in working with children, young people and adults, adapting the therapeutic approach to meet their specific needs.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all sessions and evaluations carried out.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure an efficient multidisciplinary approach to client treatment.
  • Participate in research activities and continuous training to constantly improve their clinical skills.

Requirements:

  • Physician Specialist in Psychiatry and/or Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist.
  • Active enrollment in the Ordem dos Médicos.
  • Proven experience in psychiatric evaluation and intervention.
  • Proven experience in disorders of neurodevelopment, mood, anxiety, behavior and personality.
  • Proven ability to work effectively with children, adolescents, adults and their families.
