WHAT ARE CLINICAL PSYCHOLOGY CONSULTATIONS?
Each treatment begins with the execution of an anamnesis, applying the necessary and relevant psychological assessment tools for each case as well, regardless of the client's age.
The information is then organized in the framework that explains the difficulties the person has been experiencing, namely how they have developed and maintained. Therapeutic objectives are also established at this stage.
The assessment and intervention follow the Cognitive-Behavioral paradigm and, after establishing the therapeutic relationship, strategies and techniques such as psychoeducation, cognitive restructuring, empathic confrontation, exposure, relaxation, reinforcement plans, therapeutic tasks between sessions, and cognitive stimulation are applied.
To achieve the best possible results, we work with the individual, the family, and other elements that can contribute to the therapeutic process. Cognitive-Behavioral Intervention is protocolized, and follow-ups are prepared and customized for each client. In addition, we also combine with other ongoing therapeutic interventions, such as Speech Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Child Psychiatry.
